But yes, still no list. :-(

I have been watching the chief leader website. Lots of lists have been established recently. Hopefully the oiler list will not be far behind.
tyler, where did you hear that only 300 passed? I did not score that high and did not think I had much of a shot. If only 300 passed, everything has changed.
I interviewed for a job last week I guess the provisional guys must be going back to their permanent spots or leaving all together.

List will be out in October....Good luck to all

Heard those numbers from a friend/provisional oiler in dep.
im am told that some of my coworkers have received their test number in the mail today!!!! Not me yet but should be tomorrow or next day, hallelujah! !!!!!!!!
Those that received notices in the mail were all notices of Disqualification. Test scores should be in mail soon, within a month or so like actuator said along with a list number.
Thanks for the update. My buddy got a letter on Saturday. So far no news is good news for me, but I'm very nervous. Anyone in Jersey receive a dq yet?
If you haven't received one yet, your application was processed and not DQ'd. The DQ notices were dated Sept. 11th, so even if you live in NJ you would've received it by now. The DQ notices state a 30 day period is in place for appeals, however this does not necessarily interfere with the date the list is established. Accepted appeal candidates simply get inserted into existing list for example list can have numbers 27, 27.5, 30. I am only speaking from experience since I have taken several NYC civil service tests both open competitive and promotional, they all followed this order. Good luck to all we should be getting results soon.
Thank you Lord Helmut for your insightful post. Keepem coming Chief!
Let me ask another question. When I log into the NYC online application system and click on review status of completed exams, it shows both oiler and CUNY oiler but under score, it is N/A. Does anyone see a score here?
were are you looking?
