yep, '74 Candy Red Ford van, Carpet throughout, built in bed, with speakers and three moon roofs ( I could remove the glass and crawl out on the roof, which worked well at drive ins) Swivel captain chairs and I had a built in dry bar behind my seat with a cooler full of ice (which I stole from the bar, just the ice not the cooler, LOL )

This is my favorite Van, I was a DJ and Bartender when I owned it, spent many summer nights "camping" after an evening of "work" and partying in the parking lot with whom ever I met that night.

    Ugliest Van Poll

We have 2 nissan 2500s and really like them for service. With the van specific shelves, we can slide a 5 ton condenser in the back. Only issue is we can't carry a lot of motors... Luckily we work real close to home.

I'll stick with my 13 year old Chevy 2500, 155" wheel base 5.7L 269K mile van (although it needs a new exhaust system, finally) The Chevy Van is the easiest vehicle to work on. Break pads are a 15 minute job. Replacing the condenser AND radiator was a 90 min job. alternator was a 60 min job. Fuel pump was a 60 min job.....easy-simple to work on (except the serpentine belt~~~who ever invented that POS should be shot)
    Agree!

I have a 2002 Chevy 3500 LWB Express, would not trade it for anything. SOLID body, albeit the door hinges and latches; and I have not really had much issue with the tranny... mine has the HD tranny, one of the things one gets with a 1 ton chassis.

Just wish it got better MPG's though... but most full size service vans are rough on gas.

My personal vehicle is old enough that it still has a foot switch for the high-beams.

I saw one of those dodges on the road today. It was a rental form Enterprise. Let me tell you that it is even uglier in person.
