We had a milk farm loose a unit and part of the building due to a storm. Had to get the unit up and running that day but NO 407c or Dry units were available. It was a 3t unit. Purchased a 5t 410a unit, installed all safety controls, charged with 407C. Is it perfect, no. Does it cool the stored liquid, yes. Still running so far. Now they have a unit on standby but why pull out something that is working?

It works good for custom sizing I have it at my own house. You need to change to proper metering device, and figure about 65 percent capacity. I did it cause I got a free Trane 5 ton and already a nice three ton air handler. Works awesome
