For my reference transducer, which has 1/4 MNPT, I use 1/4 FMPT x 1/4" male flare.

There is a 1/8" FNPT x 1/4" MNPT that can be used with the above to get 1/8" FNPT to 1/4" male flare to use with a 1/8" MNPT gauge like the one you're using. The two of these would be about $6 from Home Depot. The gauge to fitting, fitting-to-fitting shall be assembled with pink PTFE cut in half length-wise.

Use a 6" flare hose from automotive supply house. (you probably won't find them at retail type like AutoZone)

Those "ice machine fittings" which is what we call them, are nice. I've got a mess of them screwed onto transducers for a monitoring setup that I built.
How come JP and I are always building similar ACR contraptions and generally doing similar things?

It's a female by female coupling, but it's all brass.
    It's 1/8 female IPS X 1/4 female flair adapter...

I didn't say he wasn't smart, because I think he is. He's just not gleefully sarcastic like you are.
