Try stripping back the insulation around where the wire enters the clamp and seeing if the wire is broke. Mine started giving funny readings on both sides. I knew where the poor connection was because if I moved the low side temp clamp wire around near the clamp it would come in and out. I ordered a new set of clamps but decided to try fixing the failed ones. As soon as I stripped it back it broke in two where the wire had become fatigued. I soldered it back together and covered it with shrink wrap. Been using them for about a year now with no trouble. So I still have an extra set of new clamps sitting on my shelf. Hoping I can get by with them for another 20 or so years😂. Or at least until the iDrsa comes out(wishful thinking)...

Thanks in advance,

depending on the refer selected this is normal, if you hook them up when system is OFF as well the PSI will be over the max and it will flash..using Nitro purge also flash etc.. ive had mine for many many years, only issue with all DC sets are the clamp plugs they all pull pout or break..i gave up fixing them but still use my 1200s and ak900s for all my basic work..I have Iconnect for fine tuning diagnostics..

BTW, I also picked up a set of Fieldpiece JL3KH6 Job Link Charge and Air Kit.
Love them so far but I more often grab the DCs.
Setting up the Fieldpiece vs just hitting an "on" button. Grabbing your phone to turning the screen back on because it sat for a minute. Etc. It's just a bit easier. Plus if you have to adjust the charge you are set up with the DCs. I have a "T" fitting and hose that I hook up to the FP if I have to, but it's just one more step.
B83... I really cannot make an evaluation on the Testo digital gauges... literally the only digitals I have owned...
Are a DC1200 that was converted to a 1250...
And a bunch of AK900's...
The DC1250 has been retired and was sold to a guy for parts...
Sorry I cannot help on this...

ON the DC temp clamps...
If one looks at the handle... the side with the wire coming out of it, has a cover...
Remove the cover and change the wire all the way from the clamp to the plug into the DC head...
I did that a long time ago with a set of clamps... extended the life of the clamps considerably.
Once in a while, the temp sensor (the silver tube in the business end of the clamp) fails...
Not much one can do other than replace it.
I HOPE Doug will come along at a point and give us information as to where to find that temp sensor...

No distribution and the main guys in the HVAC tool game when we wouldn't hand over the IP for nothing threatened the supply houses to pull their stock if they didn't pull DC product. We never believed the game would get that dirty.......and the iDRSA was planned and is patented to achieve about 10X what the two other renditions are and we could very likely sue for patent infringement and maybe will at some point.
The US is not a nice place to do business for a trusting dumb Canuck.
Glen.....we still have Temp Sensors for those......ping the email and we will respond....

They have to be 10kohm thermistors and our Beta was pretty tight for accuracy but you shouldn't be more than about 1 degF off with others 10kohm.

All done but we have sensors.
Who knows, we were going to OEM Hilmor and Diversitech just bought them. We have a patent on the iDRSA so iManifold and Quick Check May be in violation.
Diversitech a couple years ago looked at us but not into gauges then.

Damn...was hoping the IDRSA would make it. I've been holding off on iconnect for that reason.

Thanx Glen for your support. We made a ton of friends—that was the hardest thing to be ripped away from for both Brenda and I.

Full proprietary wireless that could blast through walls and metal WI boxes with open source on sensors, ammeters, flowmeters, you name it.....I was investigating heads up displays onto safety glasses 13-14 years ago and we would have QR codes automatically have the iDRSA dial in parameters so that when you looked at the compressor, the amperage, voltage, wattage SST/SP, SCT/HP, flow rate etc came up on your heads up.......along with empirical BTUH REAL TIME.....

Wow!!!I have an Manifold, but I rarely use it.the app was difficult to use.I use the fieldpiece 480 now.I was waiting for you to come out with wireless .I believe your manifold was the best ,well made and durable. At least the one i had.dont know about the newer ones. Are you saying the other companies are using your ideas,Guess it was expensive as a small company.I also still use the older Digi cool on occasion.Wish you got the bluetooth out that could go thru walls. Are you saying that the Iconnect setup was your idea first?you got forced out of business?

Always remember whom you share your IP with......even your supply chain.......
Also, not Bluetooth.....it's garbage but easy.

i watched the video of the IDRSA.Will this manifold ever be available for purchase.it's great.Looks better than Manifold. How about the remote probes and temp sensors that would sync up to it.I hope this goes into production.
