    electrical troubleshooting Books?

Hey guys Ive been doing work in the field off and on for something like 8 years or so. Anyway Im a pretty decent tech in certian areas of the trade but have some down falls when it comes to troubleshooting. I can do pretty good electrically with power coming in but low voltage and t stat wiring seem to hang me up. I would like to learn some more maybe to help me. Any ideas on what books are out there that could give me a hand?

Look in the educational forums, since you have Pro status.

I have two articles posted there that will give you a solid foundation.

There is almost 900 pages of troubleshooting in these rses manuals. I also have electricity for refer and hvac by Russell Smith. Its good info on theory but the troubleshooting parts is where it falls on its face. Rses material is pretty damn thorough and worth every penny.

Thanks. I have to send Cracker a note about improving them a little. I dashed them off due to all of the basic questions we had been getting. Now, its time to tweak them.

Here's an obscure link that I found by searching years ago that has a portion of Carrier's HVAC Servicing Procedures handbook that you might find helpful...
