    After retiring from the service, I was a jack of all trades, and master of none. I work on computers back when DOS was king and backups were done on cassette tapes. I've painted houses and Mowed Yards.
    I most certainly wasn't the best at all of this work, but I kept food on the table and a roof over our heads.

    Always in 'administration' first in general contractor area, than plumbing, finally landing in building maintenance. Now trying to pitch in when possible (I grew up with an Electrician father who did not believe his girls needed to be helpless) as the economy forces the down sizing of our workforce.

    Before getting into HVAC I worked as a projectionist for Local 640, worked for the Smithtown Highway Department as a laborer, drove an oil truck, worked in the oil home heating business.

    Currently maintenance super for an ISD which also assists 4 other school districts with HVAC/R, Plumbing and BAS/Pneumatic controls. Also do residential work (under my contractor's license) as I find the time.
