Dongle Bypass

I am having this issue as well "incorrect serialization plug" We had to replace the machine with the XBS software and no longer have the security key, is it possible to bypass the security feature?

Time to rip it out and go with an EBI front end

What controllers are on your XBS? A mix of XL+ R7044's and XL5000 series of controllers?

My main account i service had this issue a few times. Usually just re-seating the plug corrects my issue. I'm sure you've tried that already though. The solder joints like to break apart over time!

I might be able to help in these situations. I would need to physically read your serialized protection plug and send you back the plug and file.

I am having similar issues. I have XBS 1.50, lost dongle. How can I access the software without the serialization plug, or get a replacement? Thanks for your help.

As far as I know, you need the physical parallel port dongle, and there no way around that.
