I tried pumping it down and it wouldn't pump down. I also did that ac analyzer it says compressor was bad not pumping. Thanks guys, I'll replace the compressor as soon as it arrives. Thanks again.
No I haven't, that's a great idea Thanks!!!
75/RA, 64SA. The load on the system wasn't big enough to cause my suction to be that high. It's TXV System, Txv was maintaining good sh. The compressor does make rattle type of noise on start up.
It's a scroll compressor, line temps on the reversing are within 2-4 degrees. DT 163.
I believe it's the compressor. My start and run windings are drawing the same amount of amps I've never seen that on a single phase compressor. There is usually a small amount of current going...
Condenser was filthy and my head pressure was super low. I cleaned the condenser and nothing changed.

Compressor amps common 6.2A, start 5.1, run 5.1. Nameplate rating 14A. Is compressor inefficient? Anything helps.
That look really Sharp. Nice job!
We just stated at this location all these motors have been overgreased. We installed sealed bearings.
Not sure I just know it's a cone style bearing heater.
Got to help out with bearing replacement on 40HP Motor.

I think the rating of compressor tonnage and hp changes with application is due to 1hp=746w electrical energy not cooling energy. The compressor hp would also change with different operating...
Got it figured that's what you meant. Thanks.
What do you mean by manually control the loading/unloading of compressor?
It uses dry coolers. I know the coils are filthy or undersized, the guy onsite says they need to turn the sprinklers on when it gets around 85 +. They try to keep the site at 68 but in my opinion...
Yeah I dial the sheave to get me fla than switch to fixed sheave. The control ignores the low suction for 30-60 seconds(pump down). It doesn't happen right away and I haven't been able to catch it in...
Humidity setting is 45% the space temp setting is 68. I had to lower the setpoint and watch it run for a while. There isn't a lot of load in bldg yet. They plan on adding more equipment but haven't...
Thanks I'll do that.
Liebert MN:VH363GUAAEI is tripping on low suction alarm, refrigerant charge is good pulled it out weighed it back system was a 1lb low. Pressure tested found no leaks. Evacuated and weighed charge...
You should get the copeland x-ref app. It will give you specs on said compressor.
Ok thanks. I didn't know they had glycol with different ratings, this unit is not piped to a cooling tower or anything at all. Its just piped from the Liebert to dry cooler.
Did you on inside of unit sometimes there's a name plate under the control section of unit.
Is the coil clean, you have to clean it from the back by removing the fan shroud. Does condenser fan motor have the right rotation, possible restriction of metering device? Once you start operating...
Yeah this one is being used to cool a Liebert. Yesterday it tripped on hp switch both circuits. Dry cooler was plugged with cottonwood, cleaned the strainers they were dirty but not as bad coil on...
hey just wanted to ask about dry coolers. Do they work well in ambient temps at or above 95 degrees?
hey just wanted ask if dry coolers work well in a hot weather 95 degree and above ambient temps.
Does anyone have any technical info on RHEEM RRGF-131075CKR.
Thanks that clears that up.
Can someone explain dirty voltage and how it affects the system? I am apprentice I would like to know what it looks like in my multimeter any input helps.
I check caps as part as every pm I do. Like you said it also makes the next call billable if the capacitor fails, more than that it's good service to let your customer know what you found performing...
I use the uf setting on my meter. Today I performed a PM on 2 Gas Pack units a very old Bryant and a York, as part of maintenance I check run caps the one for IFM was rated 15uf +-.06% it was 11uf...
Got it I'll wait till I have posted 15 post with technical info. I will also get my paperwork in pdf format.
Thanks.
That's exactly what am trying to do, how do you apply for pro membership? While I was going to school I would search for answers to questions and this website would always come up. I know the...
Thanks.
Good Afternoon everyone glad to be a part of such informative site. Today I got the opportunity to replace a compressor on ductless mini-split as well as the indoor fan motor. The indoor fan motor...
I just got off work, today I assisted one of our journeyman replace the blower wheel on Liebert unit. It was rough for a minute there was barely enough room to get blower wheel through the ceiling...
