ASSUMING the refrigerant has already been recovered, lost, whatever. That’s why we’re converting. 2 lines and electrical dump it over. Refill. S B #8. Less then an hour
I wish you luck.
I’ll accept that
That’s about right.
And why did we do all this work?
The installing contractor makes or breaks a job
Costco doesn’t hire good contractors
Oooo fancy name for a .............................................Cardboard Box!
Your obviously new to the field so As far as low suction what can cause that?
That unit should have a...
also senior condos here. Brilliant!
Call this contractor and see if there willing to correct there mistakes and do the right thing.
A verbal OK is worthless. Email or even a text saying its authorized then fine!
Explain to me what a txv charge jacket is?
Static pressure?
Coils clean?
Filters Clean?
Do they normally run this unit in those ambients?

The contractor is the most important thing. Unfortunately 50 - 75% of the alleged techs out there are Under Trained and Over Worked or both!
As I said Call this...
Any time the gas pressure is "Adjusted" or changed a new combustion analyses need to be performed. There adjusting and doing nothing but guessing.
Sorry but you now have an Unsafe furnace. ...
You've chosen the really bad ones! I guess the gas pressure was changed but No combustion analyses was performed!

its your equipment its your life!
Safety's are there for a reason and should NEVER be bypassed. I would call the contractor and demand a complete refund for the techs actions!
No manufacture...
Depending on what it monitoring, combustion air, exhaust air I don't know what they bypassed but personally I would shut it down and get it fixed!
NEVER By Pass a Safety!
Call a different contractor.
Ask Our Pros-Owner Assistance - NO DIY advice will be given.
Bad gauge?
COSTCO :gah:
Let the installing contractor supply the equipment!
Maybe you should find out why the pressure is getting that high first!
The safety's doing its job!
or like I said in post #3
Recover and weigh it!
Get your meter out and start checking.
Resistance values
wire to wire
wire to ground
Make sure the unit is DENERGIZED!
:gah:
Its his call. I cant think of any job that came close to what the customer expected, I just give them the option and benefits. They choose what to do.
If that test was accurate then somethings changed. Ducts broken apart, something.
Your saying it was fine in the past?
Who told you that?
I'll also ASSUME your 609 certified?
What recovery equipment do you use?
Get it Serviced Professionally!
Install the Gas as the back up. IF gas prices go up that much then change the balance point or just disable it. Electric and fossil fuel go hand in hand. 1 goes up so does the other.
We used to...
How often do you recover from a car?
OK
Whos been servicing that equipment?
That answers my question!
and yet they keep doing it W R O N G why because its

As far as I know its all in the IOM. There's no secret area. Specifically what codes are you looking for and why?
How leaky is the house?
How accurate are the test instruments ?
What controls the humidifier your t-stat or a separate control?
A blower door test will show how many air changes an hour and where...
Call the installing contractor back.
That will do it
Plenum or Spider BOX ?
That you should know!!!
Stop wasting your time and at least replace the outdoor unit with a 407C unit!
It’s been a while but 3/4” EMT can handle 12 - 14 #12 THHN wires IF pulled all at the same time!
That was at breakfast!

Start with a blower door test to identify how much leakage and where.
Duct blaster test to find issues with the ducts.
Then decide best course of action
I would still ask for there recommendations and how they got them.
I ment screw. Too early in the AM
