If the station was running on a Jace, you need to export the project before you upgrade Niagara.
Did you export the project before you upgraded Niagara? If not, I hope you have a backup.
Does anyone mind sharing all the current NiagaraAx jciFx modules with me? I'm needing them at 3.8.213 to try and see if that corrects some issues I'm seeing in a few stations. Thanks.
Would someone with access to the latest version of PCT mind sending me a quote to purchase a copy?
We were a JCI ABCS dealer years ago and we still have some customers using the FX-PCG/V...
Does anyone have a document that explains what all the "TraneVariables" actually are in these comm cards..?
Thanks.
You don't have to have the Bluetooth adapter if you don't want to. You can tunnel through a Jace or use a CC-BASRT and select the BACnet IP connection from within PCT.
IMO, it would be a wiser choice to go ahead and do away with any and all legacy/proprietary comms and single vendor hardware. Get all the crying and knashing of teeth over with up front and get the...
Knew about it..? It's more likely that one of them seeded it.
What existing functionality are you referring to that you're worried about losing?
Two things...
1) Forget about their claims on WiFi mesh... It's never gonna happen.
2) Plan your WiFi network(s) very carefully.., or plan to buy a lot of POE APs.
I've picked up a decent assortment of various manufacturers 902Mhz sensors on eBay over the last couple of years (wall switches, relays, temp sensors, motion sensors, window/door contacts, card...
Let's be honest here now... We would all make our living off tapping on two keys if we could.
Are you using a currently supported version of the weather jar? Do you have a DNS address allocated in the TCP/IP settings?
If you use the rolling average block, just make sure you debug your sequence to verify that you've configured it appropriately for what you're wanting to do. I typically don't use this block very...
People crack me up... Why would you ever choose a career path in a service market that was "easy". I've stuck with controls because it's the most convoluted and discombobulated thing I've ever come...
There is a "round" block that can be used to deal with decimal values that might be causing an issue, and there is a "hysteresis" block that can be used if you don't want to use a thermostat block....
In all seriousness (and in my opinion) there is no such thing as a "singular" alternative. Just buy what works best for your needs from whoever comes across as the least full of ****...
We get a lot of requests to install either Bagnet or Logworks controllers from manufacturers like Alertron, Dietach, and NiagaraAx.
Is the 3113 property the BACnet relinquish default, or is it just a proprietary JCI default?
If you're frequently polling a "default" value that is persistent in the controller, would you not run...
Now that's a very useful bit of info. Thanks.
I'll have to look into the PCT PCVAV logic to make sure it's doing the same thing, but it's probably the same application..?
Does anyone know if the current version of the PCT selection tool can produce a canned pressure dependent VAV application? It's been a really long time since I used this program, and I don't think it...
There was a time when they weren't open unless they were requested to be open at the time of initial purchase... I don't know if this is still their current practice, but I do know of an instance in...
If you can log into the WEBs Jaces with a different branded workbench, then they are most likely "open" in all regards... However, if you can log into them, just look at their license files to...
If your coils are becoming clogged, your filter arrangements are improperly applied and/or your filter maintenance schedule is wrong... I don't see the point in measuring the coil DP, since you...
I've seen both of these points and wondered the same thing.., but I never physically verified what Trane is referencing with them.
I just assumed that the "status" was a CT and the "proving...
Have you tried changing the out of service property and then writing to the present value?
Does it have TCI components..? If so, you could give the comm3 driver a shot. I've have reasonable success with it on a few retrofit projects.
ah yeah... forgot about those pesky details again.
I guess that's a reasonable question..? We use Tridium, and, for the most part, it can do that just fine.
However, Tridium doesn't seem to handle converting units very well when the device...
Trane says no go on any proprietary objects that can accomplish this remotely...
How does one go about using the Tracer BACnet service tool to perform a device discover in a predominantly...
You would think that the factory itself would be the ones to be out in front with this. Surely they know what part of the world they are shipping their units to..?
Is there possibly some/a proprietary object(s) somewhere in this card that can be written to that will change the engineering units to imperial? I really don't want to have to go to each unit to do...
That sounds a lot like work.., so it's probably never gonna happen.
Does anyone know if the vykonPro module has been moved up to N4? If so, can someone email me a copy? Thanks.
I also don't know how N4 is handling an approach to responsive design, or if that's even something they have added to N4. I know I saw something once about vector images in Niagara, so maybe a...
Our first N4 job is in the works, so I don't have very much exposure to it at the moment.
Since we are using Distech on this job, they have converted their Ax "productivity enhancing tools" into...
I don't really have much of an issue with creating the GUI within xpressEnvysion. I think there are some things that could be reworked or fixed, but for the most part it's manageable. My issue is the...

Dang it man... There's more crushed hope all over the floor again. Someone's gonna have to clean that up...
Are you describing some attribute of expressEnvyision..? I'm not working with xE for what I'm attempting to do at the moment.

True, but I'm ready to chalk all my hope for this stuff up into the wishful thinking column...
I'm not having success with the alarm utility widget in a Supervisor.
My histories aren't in the Super, so I guess I'm gonna have to abandon using that utility...
What about just using an IFrame that points to the default History view builder in the Supervisor/Jace to be able to access your history imports in the Supervisor instead of putting your history...
Well, if you're using Envysion in a Supervisor and pull the trend builder from the EnvysionWidgets project utility views and drop it on a view... how do you get it to work with the histories in the...
Wow... That's no bueno.
Are you asking what a Tridium component grid view is?
Also, are you using the Distech version or the standard DG version?
I'm struggling to get any of the Distech widgets to work with...
I've used xE on a job recently and it was manageable to work with. It had/has a few issues to overcome, but it did turn out a decent GUI for the customer. Other guys in the shop have used PA (after...
Are controls easier on the body..? Yes, but they can just as easily, exponentially, contribute to it's detriment. Are controls easier on the mind..? Not so much.
Get in touch with Vern at MOV...
I'm seriously expecting to hear this response one day in a sales pitch...
