Its not hard to remove the rubber hose from the tank or the back of the filler neck, then just siphon the gas..

that seems low to me 10KW,:.02: remember the voltage does not drop when being powered by your utility company. when all you have is a generator, the loads will put strain on it and cause voltage drop...
