No. It has never cooled or dehumidified well.
Actually I think that's what I had it on part of last year. Think it was 70-71.
I have not tried. I'll try tomorrow.
I can't find anything in the manual that refers specifically to the 47 vs 37 degree setting. Some posts on here point to the accelerated cooling as what changes that. The 6 would make sense for temp...
I honestly didn't check temp split. Return air is in crawlspace, but I think I have sealed all the leaks. It had some pretty large gaps in the floor joists. As far as changing fan speed, in my head,...
As far as superheat and subcooling they are exactly what the manual calls for. 130 PSI suction with a 58-degree line temperature. 325 PSI head pressure with a 90-degree line temperature. That is with...
I don't believe that it's undersized. Heat pump keeps up to about 8 degrees before auxiliary is needed. Getting time to call tech support on personal equipment is hard this time of year.
I have a bova036 matched with Bosch's 3 ton air handler. It can't maintain temp. Had it set on 70 and it would be 72-73. Bumped it up to 72, now it's 74-75. It's in accelerated cooling which to my...
Bosch sells everything you need. Also there is no communicating between the indoor and outdoor units. At least on the first version, not sure on 2.0.
No. Said it could free up a locked compressor. Never knew you could reset the thermal other than cooling the compressor.
Definitely not as a diagnostic tool. I have never had it work, but I haven't came across many locked up compressors.
We were taught in school to try hitting a locked up compressor to try to free it up.
I'd tell boss man that I wasn't comfortable doing it all on my own just yet. Have the senior tech be your tool boy for a job or 2. If I were the senior tech I'd ask you which tool/part you needed and...
Also, I suspect the board because compressor was running at 40hz the other day. House was 2 degrees above set point and it was 95 outside.
I have not changed anything on it. Accelerated cooling puts it at 37 correct?
I was told by one of Bosch's field reps to change the board since it was one of the first units, just because it's in celsius. All settings on unit are factory. A/h is a Bosch unit and blower speed...
I think it's a board issue. When in charge mode it dropped roughly 1 degree every 15 minutes. Normal running conditions only about half the indoor coil sweats. In charge mode the whole thing sweats....
My Bosch unit can't maintain at anything above 85ish. Does not dehumidify well when it's not really hot outside. Barely able to get under 50% at 70° when it runs constantly. According to load calc it...
It sounds like the only issue may be hitting target temp to early.
I have a reciprocating saw in my van. I can get access.
At least a zip tie.
Would you be in a hurry to give up customers that pay full price and possible equipment sales to make a fraction of what you normally do with the added bonus of a 30 min phone call thrown in? Then...
Same as it is now. My whole account is gone.
I was once a member of the pro forum but my account has somehow disappeared. Anyone know what happened?
I wouldn't do it. We told them we wanted a 20 mile radius. We get calls to go 50+ miles all the time. Then every call you end up spending 30 minutes on the phone to get authorization. Then spend 2-3...
Almost all round. Have oval up to I think 15.
