You need the support files, There is nothing called AX Support Stuff, look under the EC-NET tab and there is something like Support Package, get that and it will install modules into your Niagara...

You will still need a license for it. Install the software and a Host ID will be generated. JCI can bind your license to it and send you a license.

The R2 license has a field labeled ORGID which historically was the installing contractor so I don't see how you would be able to make a backup server if you could find one work.
