In my experience this is what usually happens when a customer says it’s frozen up. They saw a little bit of ice on suction line outside so I tell them turn it off and I’ll be out in a few hours, so...

It’s pretty much 1st thing I do. If it’s frozen up then I turn AC off and switch fan on. If CU is still running I look for reason why.
