Thank you very much Billydoughnuts. Like I mentioned before, this forum is awesome!! It's an invaluable resource to have. When I started in the trade we didn't have the internet or cell phones.
Thank you Salmike.....It's threads like this one that make this forum the best resource for the people working out in the field.
I've got a quick question that maybe you know the answer to. I'm...
Well, from my experience the Mitsubishi ductless systems are by far the easiest ones to clean. Eight easy to get to screws and I can have it tore apart and put back together in under an hour.
...
I've seen some nasty ductless systems but I think this one takes the lead as being the most disgusting one. Unbelievable! ! Looks like I'll need a Haz Mat suit on my truck from now on.....
...
Not trying to get into an argument with anybody but instead offer a suggestion. Look for a lead installer with experience that can be on the job with the new guys. One lead and one grunt. Offer...
Not only will the person sleeping in that room hear the A/C running they will have a perfect view of the condenser too. At least the neighbors won't see it though.
I think the variable speed...

Who is responsible for fixing the problems, you?
Those two pieces of insulation pulled right out and problem solved. One of the reasons this customer called our company in the first place was that the previous company told him that the system...
I'll tell you what, the service call couldn't have gone any smoother. I am not saying that I am some kind of super tech or anything but I listened to what the customer was telling me about the...
The customer just bought the house six months prior and told me that the previous owner had nothing but problems with the heatpump from day one. Technicians would come out and remove refrigerant...
It's a shame that other tool manufacturers haven't joined the Manufacturer's Corner. Props to Yellow Jacket for stepping it up and offering an added resource to the professionals that purchase their...
Have a listen, too funny.

That's funny. I just read the entire thread and you asked the same question about 5 times and multiple other questions. To make a statement that you didn't ask for anything is crazy.
I just bought that kit a couple months ago. I was wondering what those extra pieces were for, haha. I bought the meter to test pressure switches and to set up the universal pressure switches if I'm...
Yes, that is the valve in question.
My boss ordered all the techs the tubing reamer and flaring tool. Reamer is pretty nice because it doesn't cut too much material off. The flaring tool is nice too but I still use my Yellow Jacket...
After reading this I thought, "omg, that makes perfect sense".
For 20+ years I've been wondering why they haven't made an easier way to check gas pressure on gas valves. There it was staring me...
I'll ask our distributor again on Monday. When I asked the last time they looked at me like I was talking a foreign language.
Thanks for your input.
I've been seeing this more and more in the field. The latest gas valve was a White Rogers 36J22Y-202 on a Amana gas furnace. This valve had two ports, an in and an out pressure trap but they are...
That makes perfect sense. I knew there had to be a good explanation as to why the local supplier wasn't carrying the product anymore.
I checked out the link and the tool looks promising. It...
Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it.
My old boss used to buy the tech's a puffer for checking the draft on older furnaces. I can't remember the name of the product but I do remember what it looked like. Maybe somebody here know what...
Hey people, it's been a while since posting here. Things have been slow for me so I picked up some work at a place that repairs residential appliances. It is what it is. Anyway, does anybody have...
Looking for a parts list on a 58MVB Carrier furnace. Any help would be great.
This list of phone numbers I found off of the link Dad posted is from 04-07. It would be great if it were updated. Here's the link :grin2:...
Not sure how to link to an old post, but it was this one. What an amateur
It was the post I made here in ABC two posts ago, but you answered my question. Thanks
Ok, thanks. You are awesome. Btw you can disregard the message I sent you regarding expired time to edit.
Ok, here's my two cents. Before I found this section I had posted in one of the other sections asking if anybody remembers a list that had been posted in the "pro" section a while ago (probably about...
Basically what we are looking at is a strip mall that had 3 larger than normal suites. All three are connected and is now one big suite. It is one large open area with open space all the way to the...
It looks like the MC4000 might work.
The Logo controller is nice because you can have it do what ever you want but I haven't programmed before so it is a bit difficult. I've downloaded the demo...
Thanks for the responses. Well it looks like I'm on the right track.
Hello people, I've got a question concerning multiple packaged heat pumps supplying a large area using one thermostat.
The customer is requesting that only 4 thermostats be used to control 16...
This is what I use and won't buy anything else. You can find them at irrigation supply houses or I found this on Craig's list. You can purchase replacement blades for them and they are light but...
Thank You :-)
Thanks again. I'll try this method for animated emoticons as well.
Thanks Dad. I understand. I'll keep an eye out for the X. It kinda feels like waiting for Santa Claus. I'll have the milk and cookies waiting for ya.
Oh yeah, I meant to ask you about the smilies...
Is there a way to remove the huge yellow notification about people having their email addresses incorrectly listed? I read the note and I'm not one of the people, can it be closed. The reason I'm...
I agree with the brush and shop vac method. If your blower wheel is that dirty then you are probably gonna be cleaning the evap coil too. I use a Solo pump sprayer with warm water and a little...
Yes Sir
this should prevent water from leaking inside of the building. It couldn't have been the rotted out drain pan that was leaking.

Excellent thread!! The Hoshi Tech books do offer a wealth of information and surprisingly the same material can be found easily online.
This forum kicks @ss!!!
say, "this is a test".
I suppose one could always click "Preview Post"
damn I had to edit anyway
I couldn't agree more. Including the Quiet Cube in your comparison would be wise, IMO.
The manufacture of the paint booth finally got in touch with me. It appears they have changed the gasket but atleast they offer a replacement. Just wanted to update the thread. Thanks
Any idea on the cost of one of these bad boy's?
Thank you for responding so quickly. I will shoot you an email with my info.
I've got a customer that owns an auto body shop and I service the oil heater used for one of the paint booths. The company that makes the paint booth is located in South Africa and will not respond...
You may be right, it's just crazy that the accumulator blew before the copper pipping did which proves it was a defective accumulator.
