What controllers are you dealing with? I have some and I'd be happy to share
Thanks for all the replies. I'm not onsite today but if I remember correctly, the code was something like 2070. These are water source heat pumps.
Does anyone have a manual for a Siemens HP10 heat pump controller. I just replaced a dead Jace that was integrated to 94 of these but i was unable to get the database off of the Jace. I need to know...
I've got the following files:
config.db
config.sms
config.xml
The db and xml files give me every point in the system. This system has hundreds of controllers, so it's taking a long time....
Thanks!
Quick question for you gurus out there. Recently did a service call at a building with a bunch of TAC Lon stuff from 2004. The customer wants to rip it out. There is no access to the system and the...
The pic is slightly disturbing, but I can't look away! I don't know what hardware was used. It was installed by the customer's IT dept. I did use the secondary IP port on the Jace. I commissioned the...
Send it to me. This job went great! I've got 115 EasyIO FT04's on a VLAN wifi network being brought into the Jace via BACnet IP.
I just wired up a new Ebus stat today and asked tech support that exact question. My existing wire was 18/4. They said if the wire was shielded I was good to go
The customer wants this system gone. There is nothing wrong with it, but he doesn't like the service provider and they are the only Delta dealer in the state. That being said, I am proposing putting...
I'm looking at replacing a Delta system and in the interest of saving some money, I am proposing taking control of all the central plant control and RTU control but leaving all the VAVs as is and...
Try something like this. It works just like an old pneumatic receiver controller. I've used this exact setup on many MZ units and it works great.
Great information! Thanks all
Sorry to hear that! It took me 2 days of screwing with it to make it work. The thing that really pissed me off is when I spoke with JCI, they said "you should never downgrade anything". I told them...
Sorry, I didn't see the first part of your question. I left the DC on the SA for about 30 seconds and I pulled it off, then hit the FC with the command.
My pleasure! It sounds like you are ready to reload the main code back to 10.6. If you got the DAPP Ack message you are good to go. I don't think you can downgrade your MAP. If you're at the latest,...
After my controller was in test mode, I couldn't do anything with it. I got pissed and powered it down and went to lunch. When I came back, I powered it up and I was able to see it with my MAP,...
I don't think that matters. Is the SA flashing 2 times rapidly? If so, it is in test mode and is ready to have the main code reloaded. I had to have the DC signal on my SA bus and my Hyperterminal...
My pleasure! It's on its way
I have them. I tried to post them, but the website doesn't like the extensions. I'll email them
In my situation, I was running CCT 10.5 and I installed a replacement controller for an old AHU102-0. The CGM came from the factory with the boot and main at 10.6. When I downloaded the controller,...
Did you downgrade the main code at all? If so, this kills the SA Bus and does exactly what you described. There is a way to factory reset the controller. When you do this, your MAP needs to be at...
They are under the cover of the CGM. They are just above the input terminal blocks. Last week, I upgraded a DX9100 that used a 4-20 pressure sensor that was powered off of the 15VDC onboard. I could...
Make sure you set the jumper correctly for the corresponding input if it's 4-20. Had that one bite me last week with a CGM.
Why not just drop a label over the buttons with a colored background to hide them. I'm not aware of any other way.

I think this is your problem
Man! Sounds like you're almost as old as I am! Used a bunch of those palm pilots. Right now I run a Windows 2000 VM with S2 convertor. Works great. Running a full PMI install on the same VM
Thanks man!
Found this on the JCI help site:
Be careful when applying a max write time to points, especially controller hardware BOs and AOs. It has been found that if you have a point mapped with a max write...
Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately I can't access the unit. The roof access is not finished yet. Is there a way I can change the IP settings through the IP connection. There was nothing in the...
How frequently does it happen? Can you disconnect communications and see if it stops?
I have a site that has a Trane makeup air unit that is connected BACnet IP. I can access it through a browser but not through the Jace. The subnet on the Jace is 255.255.255.0 and the unit is...
Check your tuning policy. Make sure it's set to the default policy.
What a dope I am! I ended up not having a role assigned to my station to supervisor password! Thanks for all the replies!
I did a ping ans it pings fine. Then I did a scan with nmap and it shows 4911 and 5011 open. I'm stumped! The user account info is good and the Super is online in the Jaces Niagara Network but still...
Will do. Thanks! I'll post results.
A recent boiler room controls upgrade. Ripped out 2 old JCI UNT111's and an NAE that was left dead on the wall. Rewired all high voltage to boilers and pumps .
I haven't tried a ping but the Supervisor is online consistently in the Jace's Niagara Network. I'll try when I'm back onsite.
Yes. No schedules show up to import. Also, I made some various global points and I cannot see them either when I do a point discover. The Supervisor is on a VM.
Yes, the schedules are in the Supervisor. I can't discover them in the Jaces.
I have 2 Jaces being brought into a Supervisor. All points pulled in fine but I can't discover any points or schedules from the Jace side to the Supervisor. I'm trying to map in my Supervisor...
I tried it with Chrome and Firefox
Thanks Digo!
I just put a new Supervisor online to 7 Jaces. They are all Honeywell 4.10. The Supervisor is on a VM provided by the customer's IT. When I try to make a browser connection, I get this error (see...
From memory, I seem to remember a few sites I took care of that shared points between NCM's. I believe it is possible to have a program in 1 NCM trigger points in another one.
Could the processes be buried inside another one? Can you send me the GPL folder? I have a PMI workstation on a VM.
I'm putting in a supervisor and pulling in 8 N4 Jaces. When I pull in the existing schedules, it looks like I cannot edit them, just view only. Is there a way that I can modify Jace schedules from...
That was it! My password was 11 characters. Thanks!
Thanks guys. I did try multiple browsers and machines. Waiting for CC tech support to respond.
I went to set up this router today and ran across an issue that's got me stumped. Direct connection with laptop and ethernet cable, I log in with the default creds and it says I need to change the...
