Most indoor units require very little amperage
especially not using the heat strips
I would wonder if the circuit is not dedicated.
My Experience have taught me that anyone who does not follow UNICO s installation procedures and who does not have the manufacturer (UNICO) do the Commisioning is lost at sea without a paddle
consider yourself lucky that you got 6 years with no Maintenance.

I once installed a coil that needed to be put in facing the opposite direction(turned around) I noticed a small instruction sheet which recommended insulating the first few inches of suction line...

The Tech may have Moved High voltage wires in the Control Box and things may be touching now.
the new motor has leads that run down to where the low voltage may be (near Contactor).

I will say ::::That i knew a crook who installed 16 Seer Condensers and Matched them with Lower SEER coils and His Customers never Found out
Manufacturers List equipment matches and SEER rating that are achieved by mixing and matching.
