I’m going to go with a dual fuel set up on my next system. Gas furnace, coil, and heat pump. Use the heat pump until it’s colder than 40 deg outside.

Definitely don’t want to be short on something like this. You can’t have too much air. For sidewall propeller fans…not much difference in cost between 4000 and 2000 cfm fans.

I think 2 air changes per min would be good. I’m sure you have a plan for the outside air entering the space.

Maybe you could upsize the grilles and/or make the duct a little wider. As long as the velocity of the air in the duct is reasonable I don’t think it would be a problem.

Like I said…find the best contractor in the area and negotiate.

Or, get 5 or 6 bids and go with the low bid.

Don’t be the hvac...

I’m just a “regular guest” by no means an expert. But I would advise finding the best hvac contractor in your arena, and negotiate with them for your client.

Keep doing hvac, and you will find out why the other guys bids seem so high. It can be a tough biz.
