Remove the insulation and seal/insulate the walls and windows, ideally with spray foam hitting the rim joist space as well.

The problem with solid co2 is heat transfer.. hence putting it in the actone.
Actually liquid nitrogen is entirely safe but unnecessarily cold.

By the way, larger pipe works better than smaller pipe due to larger surface area. And in through the side out through the top also works better in spite of the diagram in the link.

If radon is coming through the crawl space floor and it is of a concern to you then spray an inch of foam on it and be done with it.
Closed cell is a radon barrier.
