It’s brand new. So it’s supposed to near equal to ambient?

Curious if this is normal. Lennox XC20 variable. Operating now at 72% capacity. Ambient is 99.2 and liquid line temp is 100.2. This information is from the thermostat. Is this normal?

Not sure what tam9 or s9 are? It is a gas furnace with an evap coil. I believe it has a txv

Ok thanks. I just find it odd the new system has no condensate compared to my old system.

Indoor RH was 47% when I measured. When it was 41% it was early morning and I did not measure supply at that time.

Supply - 54F RH 73% which makes dew point 45F

But does the outdoor temp and RH matter as much especially when it is so low given it will not contribute to a rise in indoor RH? The indoor RH went up from 41 to 48% through the course of the day....

Had a new system installed 4 ton XC20 variable speed along with variable speed furnace.

Thanks makes sense. So close to operating as designed. I was hoping for longer run times but this is probably the best it will get in order to cover the 100F days.

Yes you can select airflow per zone but it doesn’t ramp up based on demand. It runs on the maximum setting. Only when I disable zoning does it ramp up based on demand. Dealer is looking into it but...

It’s a two stage heat pump. I also heard bad things about the Lennox thermostat. In either case wondering if wiring as a single stage results results in significant loss of efficiency
