Good afternoon, central air system, my son is complaining the system is not cooling, clean filter, condenser running, Delta T 10*, on a hot humid day I would expect to see the suction line sweating,...
It’s only on there long enough to help fire the burners to create enough heat for a positive draft .

Not a lot of room here, plenty of power,
Ok, so we have a small steam powered locomotive that has a propane fired boiler, we need to create a draft from the stack in order to get the burner to fire, we would retrofit the inducer to sit over...
Hi All, where is a draft inducer fan located in a boiler system , I assume it would have to handle flue gases, trying to find an inducer that can handle at least 325*
Any thoughts?
PS , this won’t...
OK! I’ll bite, What fittings are available?
Hi All. Can I switch from 1/4” ACR to 1/4” OD soft drawn copper tubing? for a pneumatic system.

Hi, so I did some investing on a junk bubbler and found that the cap tube is actually part of the evaporator , unremovable , so my guess that the new tube will just get pushed up inside the...
Even with the front cover off the cap tube goes up towards the top and in through the insulating cover which is strapped around the evaporator, seems like the thing will have to come off, looking for...
Hi All, I need to replace the cold control on this bubbler, is there a work around to placing this cap tube without getting up around the evaporator, would getting it around the suction line as far...

Hi All, neighbor has had 3 compressor failures in 2 years, 1st was the original then 2 others, sounds like the units are basically exploding, they run for a couple of days then fail, I have never...

Hi All, not sure if this is the right forum but my new air handler sounds like a helicopter rumble often times, new system but the one it replaced did the same thing, could this be a duct issue?
Geo
Well that’s what I thought, just wanted to confirm, I was hoping for an instruction manual for some tip.
Hi All, what is the easiest way to replace a thermostat on a model HAC8FSCQ 1C. Water fontain?
Geo:deadhorse:
I would assume the air flow would be the same regardless, , because there would be no change to the duck work, you can only cram so much air into existing duct work, unless I am missing something.
Well that will be a question I would ask the installers, what would be the price difference,I just don't see the need for ripping duct work apart etc. I would think it would be the condenser and coil...
The system was installed in 03, AC with electric heat, still running fine, just trying to plan ahead, really don't see the need for replacing the whole airhandler, electric heat has never been used,...
Hi All, looking for thoughts on changing a condenser and evaporator only, air handler is fine i.e. Blower motor and electric heat,I see no need to rip out all this equipment and install a complete new...
