Thanks for your help.
Hello,
Thanks for your comments and sorry for the mmisunderstanding; when I said "screws" I meant "rotor male and rotor female; rotors"... Sorry for my English; I am from Spain.
I want to know it,...
Hello R123,
Thanks for your answer.
I know all is hasr, but one of them is harder than the other. I think the screws are harder than the liner/body, but I am not sure.
Do you know it?
Hello all,
I would appreciate if you can tell me what is harder in a semi-hermetic screw compressor, between the screws and the jacket on which they rotate (internal chamber of the compressor body)....
Hello ggott,
I asked for help for the same question, to know the material of the O-rings for R134a refrigerant and York-L POE oil, but unfortunately, no one has been able to answer me. The truth is...
Thanks for your remarks.
It is a pity because I have some photos of the bearing and the rotors but I can not upload through URL.
Hello jayguy,
I do not know the part number. I know that the refrigerant is R134a and the oil is POE (York L or Suniso SL-120) and I am looking for the o-rings' material for them.
Thanks for your comments.
I know it is strange severe axial displacement and bearing in relative good conditions; due to that I think that the root cause is the "backspin" and the "water hammer"...
Thanks for your recommendation!
The seal is static.
Thanks for your help!
Thank you very much for your comments.
The refrigerant is R134a and the oil is POE (York L or Suniso SL-120).
Do you know what is the correct material for the o-rings for this refrigerant and...
Thank you very much for your comments.
Dear "cause", precisely my question is because we have several YVAA chillers that are from the family you mention, the YCIV, and their YORK compressors do...
Hello all,
Could you tell me which is the suitable material for O-rings that are in contact with the R134a refrigerant?
Thanks in advance.
Hello all,
I have a doubt and I appreciate if you could clarify it to me: Why the refrigerant circuits do not have a check valve in the discharge of the compressor?
Air compressors have them, water...
I can confirm you that these model of bottle are refillable. We have around 30 of them full of used R134a refrigerant (when I said full, I meant 80% full). The issue is that I want to recicle (clean,...
Hello all,
We have several refillable 13.6kg R134a bottles with unrecycled used refrigerant, so it is likely it has POE oil and possibly some moisture, impurities, etc . To solve this matter, I want...
Thanks for your comments.
Thanks for your comments.
This is an old YVAA-1700 carrying out a new commissioning (vaccuum with new York "L" oil, new refrigerant, etc.). The manufacturer does not know what is happening.
I think...
Thanks for your comments.
The chiller runs with 80% of water and 20% of glycol.
Hello all,
Some weeks ago, we carried out the commissioning of a chiller and what we can see through the evaporator's sight glass is very extrange for us; please, find below a photo.
The...
Thanks for your comments, raptyr.
Thanks for your comments, Dr Rotor.
Yes, they are YVAA-1700.
The evaporator level is right, but people involve in the operation and the maintenance of the chillers want to know how to handle the...
Thank you for your time and your support.
Please, find below the table (R134a Mollier ) that I use:

Thank you HYP1278.
I know… This is why I asking for technical information here...
Hello all,
I am managing several YVAA1700 chillers and I do not have any information about their CTS70SBAF400/200 YORK compressors (service manual, maintenance manual, parts manual, service...
Hello Chillman,
Thanks a lot. Please, find below the answer to your questions:
Yes, we ensured both valves (EEV) are forced to 100% open manually and we also check it looking at their moisture...
Thank you very much, ehsx!
Hello all,
I have several YVAA1700 chillers and all of them show the flash tank sight glass level as the photo; please, find it below:

It seems to be empty, but it has a level below the...
Thanks for your comments ahd help.
The change of the origin of the HP pipe to the eductor, from the compressor to the pipe between separator and condenser could make sense considering that for the...
If anybody has this model of chiller, I appreciate if you could tell me from where the HP pipe to eductor comes from
Thanks for your comments, ehsx.
I even think that from pipe between separator and condenser is better than from compressor because it is oil "free" (a mean, close to 100%), the temperatura is quite...
Hello all,
All the documents that I have been able to see about YVAA chillers, they show the high pressure (HP) pipe (gas phase refrigerant and also high temperature) from the compressor to the...
Hello Chillmac, thanks for your comments. We are really exhasted to check the temperatura probes and pression transductors and the condenser drain valve and all is right. On the other hand, to be...
Hello jayguy,
Our software versión is "C.A03.23.00" and our VSD software versión is "C.V02.91.00"
Thanks for all your comments.
Thanks for your comments.
We changed the original oil to other branch of POE oil with any remarks. We drain the most of oil (all the oil that the system allowed us) and charged the new oil.
When buying and commissioning a chiller, the most common is to use the manufacturer's own oil, instead of another oil with the same technical specifications.
Regarding this issue and the YVAA or...
Does anyone have the control loop of the "condenser drain valve"? I would appreciate if anyone could send it to me.
Thank you very much Stanbyyourword.
I have just sent you an email.
Thank you very much for your help and comments.
It would be really interesting to have what you asking for. I do not have it but if anyboby can share it, that would be perfect!
The manufacturer of the YVAA is Jonhson Controls / Roca and the manufacturer of the RTAA, I am not sure but I think that it is Trane.
Do you know anything about how the EEV of the YVAA chillers...
Thanks for your comments!
The condensation control in our chillers is very simple because they do not have VSD. They have the VSD only in the compressors; as you know YVAA 1700 has 2 system...
I wrote a comment but I can not see it, so I am going to write something similar again.
It is a strange DT. The only explanation that I can imagine is that he wants to check the condenser's...
I think that DT between the compressor discharge to inlet expansion valve is a measurement of the condenser's performance; oil separator isolated does not affect to the measurement practically.
It...
Thanks for your comments!
I was looking for a post about this issue but, unfortunately, I did not find anything about it.
I know the position of the valve depends on the subcooling temperature but...
Hello everybody,
I am a new member and this is my fisrt participation.
I appreciate if someone could explain or send information about the way that the condenser drain valve works in this type of...
