Yeah, kinks have been a problem. if I have room I agree the two 45's work well. Sometimes due to room and design choice its just easier to use the 90's though.

I use my hydraulic swage tool if the joint is too tight. I don't use couplings anymore but I've had to use 90's now since linesets haven't been working well with my ratchet bender.

Just a thought, but if your suction line is 57 degrees (45 coil temp plus 12 SH), it should be nearly impossible for it not to sweat at 81 ambient temp. Your probes must not be reading properly.
