i restarted again, but am seeing some oddness myself too. I will need to get the db specialist to take a look see.
i am not seeing anything from this end. please try to get as much detail as possible. operating system, browser, device and internet connection if possible and post here.
I don't see anything wrong on our end, not sure what's up with avast.
as I posted, i removed the email address from your profile to ensure that more complaint reports did not get filed against our sending reputation.
not sure but it doesn't hurt to try :)
here we go, do this:
To provide the best protection for your account, Safelinks are on by default. You can turn them off by signing in to https://outlook.live.com. Then select Settings > Premium >...
i suspect the issue is within outlook, not avast as a final piece of advice.
it probably has something to do with it, since they only began after we have been going back and forth in this thread. I am not smart enough to give you the solution though.
try this?
Step 1: Open Avast on your computer and go to the Avast dashboard. Step 2: Under this tab, click ADD EXCEPTION and a new window will appear. Type the URL that you want to add to your...
sorry, i wasn't meaning to say you did anything intentionally, but somehow things have gone sideways and complaints are happening. can you sign up for a gmail account or something?
after getting three complaint reports in a row, i have deleted your hotmail from your profile, we can't allow complaints to happen, they hurt our deliverability with everyone.
this has quickly gone south. now you are sending complaint reports about our emails, and this is not acceptable.

i don't use any of these apps, so i can't really assist any more. but suffice to say the issue is on your end, not ours.
outlook is re-writing our URL and i am guessing avast! doesn't like that. can you whitelist HVAC-Talk in outlook or avast?
one other thing you could do is to right click and copy the link in your email and paste it into this thread, let's see if the Url is being modified.
can you please click on 'show details' and share a screenshot of that? I don't think this is on our end, i think your email client is re-writing the Url and avast doesn't like it.
i was def seeing slowness on Saturday, but things seemed ok yesterday and so far today for me.
have things improved?
i can't replicate slow loads today, but will restart the server now.
restarting the server
watching this thread, please let us know what device/OS and browser if possible.
i emailed Tapatalk as well and only now got a response that there is nothing wrong with our set up here, have things improved or is it still inconsistent?
i can’t replicate this on mobile or full site. what browser and os?

use a private browser tab and see if you remain logged in there. anything login related is cookie based and lives on your end, there isn't anything we can do from this end to resolve your issue with...
did you try a private Safari window? your phone has cookies too.
settings --> Safari --> advanced --> website data --> search for hvac-talk and delete everything.
Delete your HVAC-Talk cookies. if you want to confirm that is the issue, open the site in a private tab and see if you remain logged in that way.
deleted.
Something hit the server pretty hard in the early morning hours, still investigating what it was.
we got hit by a crawler bot, i had to reboot the server. should be good now.
We seemed to get hit by a bunch of crawlers earlier today and just had to restart the server after the site went offline for about 10mins. Things should be back to normal now.
sorry for the delay in responding to this. Are you still experiencing the same issue?
I may have found part of the cause, let me know if your threads work again as expected.
Can you all please post the link to the threads you get a 502 on into this thread?
how about now?
can you post a screenshot please?
don't shoot your computer, we're diving deep on our end.
I'm still trying to think of what your issue could be Doug, but it absolutely appears to be specific to your desktop computer, not the site itself.
we're trying to figure this out, any information you can provide about your setup and software versions would be appreciated!
same here. maybe people can share their operating system and browser when reporting these moving forward?
sorry fellas, missed a couple posts here, that thread above from 2sac is working for me, how about y'all?
