Saw a presentation by an FDD vendor that said their stuff MUST be hosted in the cloud. I was wondering if there are any Fault Detection and Diagnosis platforms that will work on a local instance.
You are asking for help with Siemens software, assuming that this is what you need.
You need someone to go through your system and give you options. You have no revision number, you cannot even...
I just sent a PM 444fox....
I spoke to a guy from Honeywell at breakfast today. He flagged me down in the breakfast hall.... so I sat down.
He asked me how I liked the product.... ok....

Come find me when you get there.... hehe
Ah, the app.... yes. I need to open that. I been busy trying to get my independent thing ready so I can drum up business.... I need to do that too.
I know Digo is also gonna be at the developer...
Ha! Looks like I know what I am doing... hehe.
Don't tell anyone, I thrive where expectations are low. :D
You wanna look at how the device facets compares to the facets you show in the screenshot. Device facets is what the controller thinks.
For example, the device facets may be metric. When you set...
The other mechanical conjecture.
Wondering how much of my mechanical conjecture actually ended up in the system. You got any broad details?
You need part number MS-HAMMER-0.
Apply liberally.
:D
I am good with that. Gonna be at the developer bootcamp at least part of Wednesday. After that, I am uncommitted.
Maybe the details are best left to PMs or email.
AI like ChatGPT is striving for more human-like interaction. A way to do that, is to get the bots into forums like this where they can tune their skills. The Mods are all saying they see it a lot....
It means a Chat Bot - a post generated by a computer, not a person. We had a thread on it maybe 3 or 4 mos ago. I just enjoy tagging the posts as a BOT and moving along with my day.

That is some pretty tight control.
So Mr Manager calls today, the place is down. I get it back and then show him trends showing the onsite guys busted stuff...
So He asks for separate logins for both of them, and explains to them...
I find such research to be very rewarding....
The JACEs just went from 8000 to 9000. So the Honeywell branded 8000 is discontinued and will be unavailable in about 2 years.... so in short, drop the 8000 and start with the 9000. Yes they are...
You need to buy someone a snickers... :D
I put that to 1000 regularly, 5000 or more on problem sites. Then I pull that into Excell periodically so I have proof of mischief just in case.... on problem sites only.
Otherwise I leave it...
I did tech support for an HVAC manufacturer, and designed the units, had them built, got UL listing for it....

There are all these discussions on 'What can we do to make it hard to break it?' The response is 'give me a list and pay me by the hour and I will do whatever you...
I am on a site that I had no trouble with after we replaced their Siemens system for maybe 3 mos. Then I get a call rom a new guy, the other onsite guy is 'no longer working here'. I get trouble...
I asked because of this. OP laid this out, and never clarified. It is reasonable for us to assume this is what he was talking about, but he never said that.... and never posted a second time at...
I hear a note of sadness and disappointment in your voice... hehe :D
Ah, helpful. Thanks for the clarification
Just like Alerton. Thanks! That is what I was looking for. I have an XL50 I pulled off the wall at a retrofit. I will be wanting to find out what he thinks of himself at some point. I knew my...
Exactly, without a backup of the JACE, I would not have them. So, is it possible to generate the XL10 bog files in a new JACE by pulling programs out of the controllers?
I would start by running workbench on the local laptop, scanning, and seeing what pulls in.
Then configure the local server the same way.
I am only vaguely familiar with the Cylon product....
Might it be possible for one to upload these put of a controller? If, as an example, a JACE dies and the database must be rebuilt without a backup...
I thought wattstopper made a JACE? That mat be your ticket
This is not normal. Whay can they not do this? What controllers are these?
I seen tooltip hover used for something like this.
I bet the shipping on a mail ordrler bride is enormous... :D
In the general forum area there is a testing area.... a quick and easy way to get your post count above 7.... just sayin
Why do you have a fault and a normal with the exact same timestamp? The fault lasts for less than a second?
This is exactly why I am so concerned with thus timing. Someone obviously went to a lot of trouble to get it right. I would like to keep that timing.
The cmpr1 does not show in the dictionary...

It is very likely the error you see in a browser says something like 'connection refused'.
Instead of typing 192.168.1.5 - which will resolve to http://192.168.1.5

I sure do - I have my notepad with the programs open, and I am coding off of that.
This is a short one. I realized as I was pasting this that the text file I was working from was missing the TASK...
I saw a line that read
DELAY [program name] 1
Seems like they used that to set it to 1 second?
Thanks for that reference, I will look at it when I am in front of the laptop.
I feel like I first scratched my head figuring one of those out nearly 20 years ago....
See how sad I was...?
Hehe
