like i said im going with a replaceable suction drier, with valves to isolate and replace core if needed.
lets say i do have to replace the suction core, do i have to replace the liquid drier...
hey thats really good to know. i just finished Daikin VRF training and they didnt really talk about how awesome PVE is. good to know. why isnt it widely adopted?? i guess cost, as usual....
right but im worried that changing the driers will clean up the oil but it wont get the mineral oil OUT. how important is that?

i was thinking rx11 flush as much as possible,
HH core in suction housing, hh core in LL drier?
valves on either side...
The third port they mention, is listed as "hi", so I'm thinking, it's full tank pressure? 2000psi? Before the regulator???
Sorry should've quoted. What is "enthalpy substitution"
What is the enthalpy setting for?
I'll look into that Dwyer thing. If a sensor fails replace it of course, but how do you test an economizer in warmer weather? How do you know if it's the sensor?
So it's been bothering me for a long time now that I can't really read milliamps, for testing economizer sensors, or any 4 - 20 device really.
I've been thinking of building a little box to keep...
Sorry I know this is kind of basic, but it came up today I wanted opinions.
How's would one apply a 9v battery to test 10vdc control.
An actuator, specifically. Positive to positive, negative...
Today's great stuff thank you!
hey folks, I'm in gas class and tomorrow I have to screw with someone's Honeywell 7800 blue box desktop lab setup, to simulate a problem that they can diagnose. Any ideas?
Also a fire-eye, but...
It IS big, agreed. But it fits in the veto, so that's fine
I've only used FP, I'm on the SC680 now and it's an absolute godsend.
I think fluke relied on name, not that it's undeserved, but they're not trying to keep up. Commercial, and even residential HVAC...
Hilmor hydraulic! It's so expensive but I promise you'll literally smile while using it. It'll last you the rest of your working life. Just buy it.
Anther vote for fieldpiece. If you're a commercial tech it's a must have.
I have the SC680. The clamp great lights up, and swivels so you can hang it easily on a line or pipe and swivel it to face...
Is it such a bag combo? Why do I never see it?
In the right conditions, a heat pump would be cheaper and arguably greener than gas, but everyone puts standard ACs.
It's there a thermostat that...
I'm an HVAC tech, 4th year 313a in Hamilton Ontario.
I have a friend in downtown Kitchener gutting a small house, he wants me to duct it, bring in gas (remove existing oil), do furnace AC.
I'm...
not a clamp, looking for the ultimate clamp for HVAC
i found it with fieldpiece im telling you
your confidence in a brand is not relative to the facts, this meter is unreal
What do you mean?
Okay! So field piece really came through, and I was part of the beta testing for the SC680. This better is absolutely phenomenal, changed my life. Does everything. I'll be posting a review soon, I've...
Thank you so much guys this had been super constructive. Fieldpiece actually reached out to me to try and sort this out, so I'll update you on what happens
so is there way to find out if i can divide the amprobe Nav meters microamps by 1000 to get milliamps?
my current fieldpiece goes into OL when i try to measure the microamps in series with a...
Those unfortunately only go to 600. I'd have to go up to the fluke 376
Can you divide those microamps by 1000 to get milliamps?
QUOTE=pageyjim;25801121]I think you are going to need separate...
Third decimal place under microamps? I've only ever seen one decimal place
Those look great, thank you for the suggestion I didn't see those before
that all sounds pretty good, only thing missing is milliamps! not bad, thanks
so im in canada where voltages on RTUS and 3phase can get as high as 620v
i have the SC640 (fieldpiece), and its got a lot to like, but man, im sick of seeing OL
so im looking for a meter that...
Hey! I'm interested. Still have it?
