Maybe, use a very sharp wood chisel, to slice down where the Pookie & the Metal meet?
Then on to the Pancakes.

Use the serrated blade on a leatherman to cut it.
They make cordless dremels. LOL.
Thakig it apart will be easier than putting it back together.
There was actually a screwed on plate under all that pookie. The screws missed the panel behind it. So, I was able to cut along the edge of the plate and pop the panel off.
Putting the panel back on was the hard part. The Pookie is what was holding it all together.
Told you.
Oscillating multi tool probably would work well
