I hear yah there. Most homeowners don't know what a proper install looks like, if they did we would be posting a job every day. For instance this job here I did for my brother in law. I was waiting for a OMG that's awesome instead I got looks good thanks lol. It's our life can't get to upset about it. Yes I strive to do good work because I want to be a craftsman like yourself. When I saw your work for the first time my mission was to be as good as you. I strive to be the best luckily there's this site to show me what the best is.

Lol how did you get so good with requirements that low? Your customers must be speechless when you’re done.

Yep good point. Our local codes require a trap I wish they didn’t. Annual maintenance and flushing the trap and drains with hot water keeps it clear.

I put the GPS in a smokers home and when I went back 6 months later I couldn’t tell a difference. Told them to leave the fan on also.

I’ve installed 3 of them. I have one in my home as well. I really like it, I feel it does a great job with controlling odors, like animals and cooking. I smelled what some people say is the ozone for about the first month now I don’t smell it anymore. Probably just got used to it. My wife says she still smells it. The three I’ve put in I haven’t had any complaints but none have called to tell me it’s the greatest lol.

Thanks. Agreed most don’t. 80k 3T and above get a 6” box and 20” filter. New equipment needs all the help it can get on old ductwork.

Yes 30” from wall. Good point with the tee I’ll put a removable one in when I finish the AC. It’s for cleaning the drains and trap for maintenance.

    New System Upgrades

So I’ve been taking a few airflow classes from NCI lately and been practicing my fabricating. Finally got a chance to throw it all together. Very happy with the results as are the homeowners.
