Wow...In my area I have so many people being diagnosed with cancer. I actually just spoke with a woman a few days ago that had it three times and her husband twice. My mom just had a cancer tumor removed a couple weeks ago. with no cancer services here so many people are moving from this mountain and buying or renting down by the hospitals in the city.....Sucks to see this....

Ya I'm glad others are wondering about him too. I remember reading his notice and I was sad for him. Personally I don't mind dying someday, but the idea of everyone forgetting about me is what I don't like. I'm glad others are still thinking about him and haven't forgotten. That means his life mattered to us.

good luck! they told my dad that he had until the holidays last oct 19. I left my job as a consultant and we cleared a large ditch together, he ran a stihl 066 from January until April. hes still hanging in there, coming up on a year later. hes not cutting wood anymore but is still enjoying himself. my advice would be to not run your schedule on someone elses clock. best of wishes!

Mods never see that info, as far as I know, Dad doesn't either. Only the membership committee does, and after they vet someone, the info is deleted. So that people don't have to worry that private info about them is floating around.

Plus Dec was grandfathered into Pro membership. As he joined in 2002, and Pro member vetting didn't begin until 2006 as I recall.

That's the concern. I figured the admin/mods may have contact info that we may not. I'd hope that they'd use it, even contrary to the normal procedures.

My son was pretty young when we sat in the back yard watching the leaves fall from the tree. He mentioned how the leaves were dead. I told him; "No, the leaves are not dead, but full of life. The leaves fall from the tree as food for the soil which feeds the grass and plants and also the tree they came from. The leaves give life, so they aren't dead- nothing dies, everything just changes." "Including us Dad"? he asked. "Yes- including us- we return to where we came from".
