    And I thought it was as simple as the capacitor. Now on to fixing some AC's. The coils are freezing up on me. If I need refrigerant, that's another call.

    It's not THAT complicated but it does take some basic knowledge, tools and skills or you can destroy that motor very fast.

    Trust me, I had to learn too.

    Yeah, could be gears or however it's driven that's locked up.

    Could be bad bearings as well.

    The motor MAY have a shaft seal that is leaking which might be causing a short, which causes it to trip. Happened to me on a different ice dispenser where it would trip the GFCI breaker, wasn't due to an overload or overamp, just water getting into the motor and tripping it.
