Good afternoon All, I was checking for this exact topic. I have clients who have the condenser style heat exchanger and rarely service them. My question is if a 17 cal.= 1/4” tube brush. Would a 19cal.= 5/16” tube brush??
Hope to hear from someone who can answer. Thanks all for the feedback.

You can pick up some rods at Lowe’s/Home Depot in the hardware section. Don’t use all- thread it can be to hard on the copper tubes.
Look into using chilled water instead of the tower water , it is so much cleaner. You will need a control valve on the starter heat exchanger chilled water to stop any sweating in the starter.

Yes they do but u don’t want to pay for it. 17 cal cleaning kit Buy 2 kits some exchangers are longer than one kit will reach. Gaskets can be bought through the manufacturer

I've never seen a 19 caliber, so I've been using 17. They seem to work pretty well. But maybe 19 is better.

Does York offer a tool or kit for cleaning the tubes on the VSD and oil cooler? Thanks for any help.
