G_stan, What do they mean by "no other wired connections"? And as strogen asked, is this a system with 2 hots & a neutral, or is it a Hot/ Neutral & Ground making it a 120V service? Is there a Ground Rod tied in to that Sub panel? As far as running water out to the barn, there wouldn't be any problem, unless You added an electric DHW, ... Then since it sounds like the AHJ has "Grandfathered" your Barn Service, many things would have to be brought up current Code.
Three wires to the panel, hot-hot-neutral? Is there a grounding conductor too? Originally Posted by G_Stan2000 Have an old pole barn (20+ years old) that has a sub-panel. I would like to run a water line out to this barn, probably would use PVC or PEX. Does anyone see any issues? Thanks
