Somehow, I finally got it to work. I basically put the points through the Niagara Network, but had to pull them through the Server. I could not directly discover the FX60 points through the FX70. I had to go into the 70 and pull the FX60 points from the Server. Thanks for the help.

In the fx70 Niagara network do you have the fx60 added? If not you will need to do that first

How do you create the new converted point in the FX60? I added a new point to the FX-7 as a boolean and gave it a fictitious address, like BD-100. It looks as if it is communicating, and I was able to link to it, but it does show that it is in Fault. Thanks.

Should always do conversions, programs schedules in the FX that communicates directly with controller. I would put the conversion in the FX60, discover the converted point in the FX70 through the Niagara network of the FX70 and then link that to the DX.

    FX Server Link question

I have a customer that currently has two FX70s and one FX60, connected to the facility network with an FX Server. I have an FX-7 controller on the FX60 where I am trying to send an enumerated point to a DX-9100 controller on the FX70. The data needs to be converted to Boolean to be sent to the DX-9100. Where is the best place to do the conversion? I assumed that it would be at the server, since the points are all discovered there, but the output to the DX-9100 doesn't report the input status correctly. Tech support tells me to put the Enum to Boolean conversion in the FX60, then discover the resulting point in the Server and link it there to the FX70 DX point. I have tried it many different ways, still with no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
