    Hey everyone, I don’t know if anyone is still active on this thread but I’m taking the oiler(cuny) exam sometime in sept.. any advice on what I should be studying & focusing on? Thank you in advance.

    Yes, but you should know in general how a plant works, and safeties.

    Yea the passbooks won’t help you much, but if you work in a plant you should be fine taking the exam.

    I don't have time for classes and one of the books that was recommended in the very beginning is $100. The Oiler book written by the NLC is sold out, and the passbook is a bad resource, apparently, and that's the one I purchased before I found this out. Any other books or online resources other than Quizlet?
