    am not to good with load calculation or measuring square footage for large area at least at this time any basic idea would help

    Should be a dry coil chart with that unit, or call York to get it, that will quickly and easily give you CFM.

    thanks for responding looks like sheatrock ceiling advised owner need to cut sheatrock nears vents where theres no air to me looks like not enough vents even if i was to connect it will still be noisy cause the package unit supply air duct is behind the wall of the air vents thats very load,after connecting ducts & still to much air do you guys recommand by pass damper between supply and return?

    Sounds like you should be inspecting the duct work to see why some supplies get a lot of air and others don't.

    In a commercial environment, estimate the load by people and the number of square feet, and see if 12 1/2 tons is just right or if it's too much cooling, and then you're going to have to quote to connect any unconnected ductwork and try to manage the amount of air flow.

    YORK 12.5 TON ROOF PACKAGE UNIT.

    Hello techs checked out york 12.5 ton package unit for PM,customer complained unit air vents to noisy,checked all vents in the office found some vents getting no air & some pushing so much air that when you close the manual louver in the vents it makes load windy noise like air wants to ecsape,i
    opened the pulley to where it wont affect pressures & tempto lower rpm but still not much different,i believe 1st they installed bigger size unit 2nd they never connected ducts for some areas cause vent are fully open but no air so thats air balancing issue as well,can any tech please give me advice how to solve this air problem i need to get back to owner. by the way not all vent are same size 15x15 & 12x8 are the air vents sizes trying to give much info as possible
