It serves cool water from a wall. :grin2: So I guess you wouldn't suggest tasting it ? :eek2:

Yeah, that's what I'm thinkin. I read it was used as insulation. I have a friend in the pool business and I've seen him use it as a cushion for underneath pool liners. It seems to have many uses.

That's vermiculite alright. Haven't seen any of that for years. It's a good insulator, a naturally occurring, non-polluting mineral.

It depends on where it was mined, some contains the beloved asbestos.
