I had to confirm my suspicions. Got about one bubble per second of this size.

Typically on evaporators I will submerge then in water. I could have easily dropped this heat exchanger into a 5 gal. bucket. What I found interesting here was that the other end was open yet at a lower elevation. I expected to see it bubble there. Instead it came out at the higher elevation. 1 inch bubbles about 5 inches apart. I had about 300psig. of nitrogen pressure on the refrigerant line.

Just pushed on but that elevated weld gave a good seal.
