The most common problem affecting the operation of a manifold set is the pistons being worn, and debris and grime build up affecting the seal or making the valves hard to turn. Learn how to rebuild your YELLOW JACKET Series 41 manifold using our Complete Series 41 Rebuild Kit (#41080).

Although you are using the Pasolade Cordless Tool Cleaner is used to clean the manifold after the handle assembly removed, I was just told by another manufacturer that the Heptane based Pasolade Cordless Tool Cleaner is incompatible with tools used for and in air conditioners as it destroys the "O" rings used. Any comments?

Use the degreaser on metal parts only, let it fully evaporate (or spray out with canned air), and then put in NEW o-rings and gaskets.

So your saying that Heptane based Pasolade Cordless Tool Cleaner damages "O" rings? What are Yellow Jacket "O" rings made of?

We don't have any specific data on the Paslode compatibility with seals, but the cleaning and rebuilding method we've recommended should make it a non-issue. Our manifold o-rings are made of neoprene.

This site https://www.efunda.com/designstandards/oring/oring_chemical.cfm?SM=none&SC=Heptane#mat shows chemicals and material compatibility. Heptane is selected so neoprene isn't the best but not the worst.
