Keyes and others arrested at Notre Dame protesting Presidential commencement speech

http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2...a-protest.html

Former Illinois U.S. Senate candidate Alan Keyes and 21 other protesters were arrested this morning when they refused to leave the Notre Dame campus during a protest of President Obama's upcoming commencement address there, authorities said.

I still cannot believe that Notre Dame invited an abortion supporting President to speak there. I find it very hypocritical.

It is extremely hypocritical and even tragic. A few years ago the U.S. Council of Bishops released a policy paper forbidding any honour being given to an abortionist. The vast majority of U.S. bishops have spoken against this honourary degree for President Obama. It's unfortunate, but there is a liberal faction in the Church today; it is strongest in the universities and of all places, the Jesuits. Thankfully, the trend is swinging back to right-mindedness.

One Southern Baptist pastor reported that he witnessed an elderly priest being dragged on the ground by security.

"I wept when I saw my friends arrested and taken to jail," the pastor said in a press release. "They almost broke the arm of a priest who appeared to be in his 80s, by dragging him on the ground."

The pastor, Vision America President Rick Scarborough explained that he participated in the protests to support Catholics in the fight for life.

And being his classless self, BO does not step down from the invitation.

The least he could do is ask if he can speak at Brown.

i live in the diocese of South Bend/Ft. Wayne. (yes i am Catholic) Our bishop is not pleased at all...i guess he has been on the national news. He is now trying to get some sort of sanctions agents the university placed by the Catholic church. There is also a effort to get the Alumni funding stopped to the university. I cant find it now but there is also a petition about it, basically it condemns the university for using the Catholic name for funding purposes only and not governing by the Catholic standards.

If Obama has balls, they are in Soro's hand.

Better be careful around here, the locals shoot Obama supporters on sight.
