Couldn't agree more. Real Latex Foam Mattress is the way to go. You don't need to buy a mattress. Get a 4 to 6" thick pad. Lay it on hard surface be it box on frame or throw in floor.
Real Latex ain't cheap and some folk are allergic to it, but it is the way to go. Certain folk say it can be to warm, if you ain't going thru MENOPAUSE shouldn't a problem.
Heck you can roll it up and take it with you when traveling. Sleep in you own bed where ever you go!
I use a tool belt for Rooftop work carrying only diagnostic tools. Mostly use a Bucket and those bucket pouch's. Now I have just one arm longer than the other, back's fine though.
I do 50 crunches in the morning and 50 at night - my back has been fine for years
Not trying to break balls here but what does the front of you look like? Weak abdominal muscles are what makes backs hurt most of the time. Weak abs will tear up parts in your back - because your back parts were not designed to carry all the load.
On the other hand - I carry a tool pouch - on my shoulder - never around my waist - I hang it up or set it down as soon as I get to the machine to work on it.
Thanks for the replies folks, have adjusted the position of my pouch so i wear it up higher around the waist has opposed to lower around the hips and it seems to have helped alot. Have been doing that for about the last week and havnt experienced any problems. Ive also ordered a smaller pouch i will use when i only require a couple of tools.
December 05 had some severe back pain. Found out through an MRI that I had three herniated discs. Tylenol 3 was my best friend but only got a little releif.
Recommended to a surgeon but during my wait of 3 months to see him a friend called me to tell me of a sign on the side of the road. It said L5 S1 issues guaranteed results.
Made the call and the Doctor was willing to see me that evening. Went to see him and have had zero pain and tylenols since that time.
Found out that as we get older we all suffer from degerative disc disease. Poor posture and Body Mechanics lead to ultimate back pain etc etc.
Got an education of a life time from this doctor and he took me into his treatment room and my life is back to normal. I eventually bought his patent design back tool that I keep with me and use it daily to help maintain my back. 10 minutes a day and I am good.
Finally decided to go see the surgeon anyway. He looked at my MRI and then looked at me several times. Gave me a physical and finally told me that the MRI that he looked at wasn't me.
Wish I had the time to get another one just to compare before and after but since I am under control and painfree I have to spend the time I have left on this earth making a living.
If you want to contact this Doctor you can get his information from his web site at www.saludex.com.
Thats my story and I hope it can find its way to helping others.
