I'm more interested in things that get the snow out of my yard lol
All you guys up north in the snow belt probably could not care less about this, But here in North Carolina we do not get alot of snow, So I figured out to make a snow machine out of galv pipe 1 oil nozz, and 2 natural gas orfices (Modded) out of a gas pack aldng with a pressure washer and a air compressor. Took alot of trial & error. But it made enough snow in three hours for the kids to go sleading the next morning. A good temp is 27* or below. I guess this is my hobby when im slow haha.. (I also made a hydrogen generator for the heck of it, just to see if I could... And it made fire!) ohhh Im board.

Cool, that would impress the cheet out of my neibors, as if they need it.
Never argue with a crazy man.
a couple of thousand more of those things, and you could open yourself a ski slope right there in Lillington. You'd probably make a ton of money, it seems like everybody I meet wants to see snow.
I wouldn't complain about a ski slope in my front yard. Well done!!
Check out gasification as a hobby...

You can actually make a forge with one...I helped a guy at work figure out how to make/control a gasifier. Pretty neat stuff.
Sweet.
It keeps him off the Xbox, so im happy. He says he likes using his imagination
Good job and good parent
Customer is alWays opposite of Left
There is a town (wendell NC) that has a old farm supply store there and they still get a few train loads of coal per year from W. Virginia. I had to search to find a supplier. Looks like the place has been there since the 1920s. They sell it either by the truckload or by 50lb bags.
Curt Kinder in n fla. hooks up the discharge on his open loop geo, tweaks the flow to get the temp right, and lets it fly through a commercial snow nozzle he got on e-pay to keep the kids in his hood happy when the temps get close.

I would love to hear details of the snow maker and maybe some vids.
You need to put the phone down and get back to work!
