    I think a lot of us have been down the same road.
    Those Promaxx units have been the mainstay and we cannibalized several to keep others operation. Now we have almost all replaced with the Appion, with good results....they are fast.
    You can't learn a thing with your mouth open.

    The Pro Max has been dependable, However I sent it in Twice within 6 mos to be repaired @ a few hundred bucks a pop and when the New compressor blew a seal, It was over........

    We have more dead ProMaxx's sitting around here than I can count. They were all warriors, but got expensive to keep running. Started buying the Appions last year. Man what a difference.

    Agreed. Appion not only makes an excellent vac and recovery machine but their customer support is awesome. Had an issue with one of our vac's (bad o ring's at the debris tube) - contacted Appion and they sent the updated (red o ring on top now) o ring kit for free! Gotta love good customer support.

    I have the same 5410 machine as that. Been working fine and staying out in the drafty garage... until a couple weeks ago. The little round pin which goes in the coupler between the motor and pump worked its way into the pump shaft bearing and then out. Easy fix with a little epoxy added for good measure. Was a good time to clean up the grime and dead bugs in there while it was apart.
