That's my favorite multi-tool. I still keep long 1/4 and 5/16" magnetic nut drivers. Every other tool has a specific purpose except the speed square and that thing does everything else...
I laugh when I see a tech bring out a multi screwdriver, then I say real techs have the proper tools to do the job go get your tool bag and stop wasting my time.
Is this a Fabreze moment? C.Y.D. I'm voting white elephant. 2¢.
I always carry a magnetic screwdriver with changeable bits. Saves lots of time when starting screws back into their holes. I have the Klein 11 in 1 and never use it.
Used the multi drivers when I was a newbie. Didn't know any better.
Carry a 40# tool bag with every screwdriver known to man.
I carry all the screw drivers I need in my tool bag (3 flat heads, 2 philips, 1/4 and 5/6 long handled magnetic nut drivers, and 1/4 through 9/16 regular nut drivers) as well as a Klein 11-in-1. This way if I have to run up to the roof of a restaurant while downstairs working I can just take my 11-in-1 instead of the whole dame tool bag.
Multi-tools are for HO and DIY'ers.
Hey cockroach, don't bug me! ©
Oh my, some opinionated persons huh?
Well, I don't know how much time some of you have spend on a commercial roofs but in some cases a walk back to the truck can cost 20 minutes. I normally have a Gerber, a pair WR-5 ViceGrips and a small flash lite. All items have saved me daily. Normally I'll go check a unit prior to hauling 40 pounds of tools to it. I do own two homes and a 34' boat so yep I guess I qualify as a HO and DIY? I guess that's true too, 'cause if it's broke I can fix it!
Diceman I do understand your opinion but at 53 years of age I've learned to work Smarter not harder. If one of my multipurpose pocket tools saves me time and gets me out of a jam, I'm happy.
I almost forgot. I keep several 4 in 1 screwdrivers around. Where they've saved me before the using the shaft as a nut driver. I think I have one Stainless Steel that came from West Marine.
I love the smell of phosgene first thing in the morning:
