Dice sent us up a bottle of eggnog from Pennsylvania that had the rum already in it. My bookkeeper, "the church lady", got into it at our office Christmas party and got half looped.

For those who may shy away from eggnog because of the Salmonella threat, here's a good report (with a video) from NPR on how "proper" eggnog will keep you safe:

    There's a recipe included, too.

Would that be "proper" eggnog or "Politically Correct" eggnog????

This part is messed up..... wont all the alcohol leak out???

Leave standing at least overnight with lid slightly ajar in refrigerator. Serve after 2-3 weeks in the cold.

What's the difference besides the fact that one is cool and the other
is frozen. I think eggnog is just flavored ice cream mix isn't it???? Unless you
put too much alcohol in it!!! Now.... is that the nog your supposed to leave out in the cold for 2 weeks before drinking or the drinker?????

I refuse to look at the nutritional facts. I just know it's bad so I end up punishing myself with my jump rope and a steep hill to sprint up.

Had another quart this morning..... Got it at Qwik Trip, not so sure about that brand... It was "OK".

I really like the Morning Glory stuff, when I can get it. and there is a new brand from Supertek's favorite store that I liked!
