suggestion on manometer

im a newish hvac tech, I've been installing more and more of those hybrid on demand water heaters (manly eternal). im having trouble dialing in the combustion/gas psi.
the gas valve is....
let call it delicate. still a great product.
i can do it. just take awhile since my equipment is not the best.
i save up enough that i can go buy a new

so im asking for recommendations, personal reviews and what should i avoid.
and if u install eternal or any other on demand water heaters what do you use.

I think the testo 510 is the best manometer for field use. Its compact and accurate.

Stay away from UEI. I've had a tpi645 for 10 years. Very reliable and I do a lot of combustion work. Great for low and high pressure. It does "wc, psi, diff pressure, even mbar! You won't be disappointed.

i install navien and eternal. i use an old-school oil manometer

UEI is what i use right now. and i bought it off another tech and now i know why i got a good deal on it. i got sucker lol.

I have the Testo 510 and love it.
If I were buying a manometer today I would look at the new Fieldpiece SDMN6.

Could you elaborate on this as to why? I have the attachment head FP dual manometer that I use on my HS36 and am just not satisfied with it. So I've been considering ordering the 510. What's the comparison? Anybody familiar with the HS36 knows how it fluctuates showing millivolts holding it in the air, so does the head attachment. I really don't like that for the use of the manometer.

Asked the same question a few weeks ago. Decided on the Testo 510. Very satisfied. Great features, accurate when compared to other style pressure gauges. Big part of the decision came down to size, fits in my Tech pac where as the fieldpiece stand alone would not. A little more in cost but totally worth it.

It's a standalone manometer with a built in pump to check pressure switches.

I guess it depends his much heating u do. I'm gonna pick one up.

I did find some info on it online after posting. Considering I have the DDM draft simulator, I'll likely go with the 510 personally.

If you already have the DDM I would go with the 510 as well

Mine is the head. When you zero yours out, does that number remain at zero until you add a pressure to P1 or P2? With the head it jumps around after being zeroed even disconnected.

Why? I think your the first I've heard dislike it.
