You had me going there for a minute... I was hoping an honest trades-guy got the loot rather than a welfare schmo that bought the ticket from our tax $$$ handout.

Next thing was to find that point back when where you and I are related... LOL

I once heard lotto's referred to as a tax on stupidity. Have not really seen much to make me disagree with that. Most winners are broke within three years....... I really don't see four bucks lasting that long. Nothing like seeing someone sell their food stamps to play lotto/power ball.

Or worse, some working stiff spending 1/2 their paycheck instead of buying necessities for the family. Worse than that is the stories you hear about multi-million dollar winners who are broke in a few years.

I know a person like this, he was more of a welfare bum than a working stiff lol, we called him casino man after he robbed an old lady of her quarters. He would go to the store and buy tons of lotto tickets and little Debbie's for his kids dinner.

I got the power ball too. I hadn't play for years so I thought when I saw I hit the power ball that in this big of a payoff lottery it would be a lot more then $4 . Pretty much took the wind out of my sails when I looked on the back of entry sheet and saw what it paid. I also bought a ticket last week being it was getting up there . Was shocked when they told me a ticket was $2 now
