    experience verification time. Texas

    working with a subcontractor it counts for the 36 months experience that you need to get the contractor license?

    he worked for a big company here in DFW but i dont think so that he had a license to be a subcontractor. in that company they were a lot of subcontractors and maybe none of them had that license.

    subcontractor license?

    i was under the impression that you had to have 3 yrs working for a licensed contractor but not sure about a subcontractor although the sub was also working under the contractors license . hope it all works out for you

    i read in another posts that they worked in maintenance business and got the license.
    so what i understand about maintenance is that you dont need contractor license. why that way it worked?

    Back when I got my state license,(20 years ago) I had to get three state licensed contractors to sign off for me. It wasn't easy. State licenses hadn't been around all that long.
    You should be able to get three years employment verification, in a heartbeat.

    it says tha the 36 months of hands on experience must earned under a licensed contractor. NON-LICENSEE can not verify your experience...

    well, is not like i wasted... i couldnt work any other way just with a subcontractor... im gonna put him in the paperwork and hopefully they accept that...
