If you help others then you are a Success
Ok, all done.. Early on into the 1st test, had a weeeee bit too much coffee in the AM and ran into a "like a racehorse" situation.. Wasn't allowed to leave and come back, so I rushed more than half of it.. I'm sure I lost out on a lot of easy points. On a good note, the 2nd part (mechanical aptitude) seems to carry the bulk of the test points and I could at least do that one at leisure.. Will know by the end of work tomorrow whether they invite me for an interview or not.
Nice meeting you Ray and thanks for all the support

'Morning Bret and everyone.. Fortunately my e-mail client has desktop notifications or I'd be checking e-mail every 5min today
Thanks Bret.. Nothing either way so far. I'm assuming a bit of work has to go into grading the exams, scoring the actual applications and ranking the candidates, so I'm not losing hope just yet.
Just got word that I was invited! Gave me like 45min to reply to the e-mail lol Now, the important question: whatever do I wear? :P Blues or monkey suit? The interviews will be held at a hotel that often rents out conference space.
Congrats, bud.
Is there someone involved that you can ask about clothes?

Thank you gentlemen. Considering the setting (mostly corporate hotel as opposed to being interviewed at a shop), I'll go with JP's advice and put on my monkey suit. No weddings planned in near future, so I might as well get some use out of it

Afternoon all....
Soaking wet, mud from a$$hole to breakfast, cold and beat up......but happy after my bike ride...man was it cold, rainy, windy, foggy and dark up there today .... but I cleaned Upper Finality backwards...
MR.....sounds promising on the employment front....good luck... and DON'T STOP studying just because you got to 'milestone C'....I've learned more in my last 5 years than I did when I was an apprentice.......follow what happens in nature......you are either growing or dying.....NOTHING remains the same.
That being said......poor ole Marvin passed away......Brenda and I loved him dearly. He was a great promotor of the industry and helped us with the promotion of DC products.....what a neat, neat man....RIP.... http://hvac-talk.com/vbb/showthread....1&goto=newpost

Thanks for the tips, Doug. I'm a geek and too curious for my own good, so not planning on stopping with learning at any point in time. Sorry to hear about Marvin, sounds like a standup guy.
