    I do visual, camera, and a ca. It all depends on the situation. I don't pull blowers and pull apart coils unless I suspect a problem based on the previous methods.

    Dealt dct410. It's a 12v lithium ion. Has a spot for a micro sd card, and takes video and pics. The screen comes off so u can show the ho without carrying the whole thing around.

    I posted a picture of the trane primary h/x crack a while back. It is underneath the entry of the flame where the metal is crimped. I will find the thread and bring it up to the top of the forum. The secondary h/x are just about always cracked as well.
